Key Goals
The goal of this project is to renovate two connected buildings on the Haverhill campus – General Services (B), and Building and Science (E) Building – with a focus on energy efficiency, accessibility compliance needs, and enhanced safety.
The renovation will contribute to the educational experience for our students, employees, visitors, and members of the larger community.
The proposed project will maximize the utilization of labs and classrooms in these buildings. Currently, the classrooms are heavily used during the morning, early afternoon, and evening hours but less so during the late afternoon.
Scope of Work
General Services (B-Building)
- Replacement of exterior accessible ramp.
- Replacement of exterior storefront doors.
- Replacement of windows.
- Gut-renovation of toilet rooms.
- Replacement of drinking fountains.
- Replacement of VCT flooring.
- Replacement of classroom door hardware.
- Replacement of stair railings.
- Replacement of building signs.
- Upgrades to HVAC system.
- Upgrades to fire protection system.
- Upgrades to elevator.
Sciences Building (E-Building)
- Replacement of exterior accessible ramp.

Project Timeline
This project is preliminarily expected to be completed by April 2026. As the progress proceeds, there will be numerous milestones we are expecting to reach.
