The Enrollment Services Team at Northern Essex Community College is committed to student success and is comprised of the following areas: Admissions, Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services, Financial Aid, International Students, Learning Accommodations, Registrar & Welcome Express Services, and Veterans Services.
The staff who make up each department within the Enrollment Services division are trained and dedicated to assisting students as they consider NECC, as they register for courses, and as they progress throughout their college experience.

Tina Favara serves as the Dean of Enrollment Services, providing oversight and leadership to seven departments and centers. She graduated from Salem State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration. Tina holds nearly 15 years of experience in higher education with a focus on Enrollment Services and expertise in the area of Financial Aid. As a product of the Massachusetts public system of higher education, Tina is passionate about student success and specifically students at NECC.
On the weekends, you can find Tina spending time with her husband in cold ice-rinks watching her six year old son play hockey. Tina also loves photography, throwing pottery, back-yard farming, and raising chickens.

Hilce Cassanelli started working at Northern Essex in Enrollment Services in 2006. She enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of students, helping them reach their goals and be successful. Hilce loves to travel and has visited France, Spain, Mexico, Nova Scotia, and the Dominican Republic.
